Before turning monpreneur (online mompreneur), Michelle lived in Los Angeles where she worked as a Professional Organizer and National Organizing Examiner columnist for examiner.com. There her company, i-organize LLC, helped residential and business clients de-clutter, beautify, and better order their home and/or professional environments. Witnessing how many people suffer from overwhelm in today's information and "stuff"-overloaded world, Michelle used her understanding of people and space to simplify, make sense out of confusion, and restore order, energy, creativity and, yes, fun into people's lives.

Before that, Michelle worked in print and television journalism in New York, London, and Washington, DC, with NBC News London, PBS, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and Euromoney Publications. Michelle has a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Virginia and also lived as a student in Oxford, England and Madrid, Spain. She is currently a Master's candidate in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica. Michelle now happily resides in Reston, Virginia with her daughter.
