I'm Connie Young, owner of Expressions, by Constance LLC and designer of the new Open Stems dangle•link. I live in upstate NY with my very supportive husband, Rob, and our 12-year-old daughter.
I have always loved long earrings and hoops and wore them frequently. Some were larger and heavy and ultimately my ear piercings became stretched. As dangle earrings are most often displayed from earwire, I later found myself wearing only simple stud earrings to conceal the stretching that was so obvious to me with the earwires. Market selection of dangle earrings displayed from posts is limited. In personal need of a creative outlet and finding a market need not yet fulfilled, the Open Stems dangle•link was conceived and evolved into what it is today – the earwire alternative for dangle earrings.
During the designing stage of the Open Stems dangle•link, I discovered bead shops - endless possibilities of design! I had originally created the Open Stems dangle•link with the beader in mind, so that they would have an alternative to earwire on which to place their designs. Once I started designing my own dangles to wear on my earrings, I was hooked. I have subsequently brought my own dangle designs into the retail market along with the Open Stems dangle•link earrings.
The design of the Open Stems dangle•link also allows you to interchange your dangles or charms, if desired. Czech glass beads, Venetian glass beads, Swarovski® components, and metals are the key elements you’ll find in my dangled expressions collection.
